DEIDRA



Name: Deidra (celtic name, means wanderer) is more of her "nickname" though. Her elfish name is very long and a bit tricky to pronounce.
Race: Elf
Age: Not determined. She has got that ageless appearance of an elf. She is much older than what she appears to be - and she looks about 19 - 24.
Height: 170 cm
Skin: Very fair
Eyes: Pale blue with a slit pupil (like a cat).
Hair: Black, long. Kept in two braids that go on the top of her head like a sort of halo.
Build/Appearance: Slender, lithe, slight curves. Just think "elf" and you've got it.
Special Faculties: Pointy ears. Dimples in her cheeks. Pointy eyeteeth.
Clothing and Accessories: She only has one outfit. She wears long-legged and long-sleeved underclothes. On top of that breeches that are buckled at the side of her legs, and a tunic with "organic" shaped edges, and leather shoes with pointy toes. She also carries a satchel that contains what few items she possesses.

Personality: She's very curious about any and all things. This sometimes often leads her into trouble. Her childlike spirit make her appear happy and bubbly most of the time, she doesn't like to show her brooding side to other people. Deidra is of course very musically inclined - she is a bard after all! She usually plays a tune to go with her mood, to calm herself, to help herself focus better, to keep her entertained on her travels or to cheer someone up or comfort them. She tends to collect small instruments and must have one or two that are enchanted. Typically she will look to pay for hospitality by playing, singing, and telling stories. She's also kind of a night-owl and enjoys musing under the starry night sky.

Background: Deidra is a travelling bard. She constantly gets dragged into all sorts of adventures - of course her curious nature doesn't help things. She is the person most likely to fall down a hole and find a hidden chamber, find someone and save them in the nick of time, get captured by savage trolls, randomly board a ship to a foreign land, or some similar. She always manage to get out of any situation in one piece however. Be it through wit, the help of others, or just plain luck. Furtune smiles upon her. Her world is rich and medieval fantasy-eque. The forests are lush and filled with exotic plants and flowers, the people are interesting and (generally) friendly, and there is an adventure to find around every corner.

Art Guideines: Deidra is not very likely to change clothes very often. All her possessions she carries with her, and more important things (like her instruments, food, and a warm cloak) than another set of clothes take up the space in her satchel. Of course she might be lent a new set of clothes while staying as a guest someplace...
